The Center for Philosophy for Children relies on the support of individual donors to help fund philosophy classes in the schools, the High School Ethics Bowl, our workshops and seminars for educators, and all our programs for families.

This winter we are honoring Milt Yanicks, who died on November 4, 2020.  Milt dedicated his career to teaching high school students in the humanities and particularly in philosophy.  A teacher at Mercer Island High School for 30 years, Milt was passionate about philosophy. The Center is honored that his family has chosen our organization as a fitting one for donations in his memory.
